March Club Meeting
Our next monthly club meeting will be on Monday, March 3rd, at the Rhos Fynach public house, Rhos on Sea. All current members & prospective new members are welcome.
This month our guest speaker is Ian Jenkins, Welsh Cycling Development Manager. Topics will include British Cyclings Go Rides, Youth Programmes, Go Ride and the Rhos, Welsh Cycling, Olympics, sporting goals and the support of clubs in Wales.
2012 Membership
The club has renewed its British Cycling / Welsh Cycling membership so all the benefits of club membership are in place. Your membership (unless you joined as a new member in late 2011 and benefitted from 13-14 month membership) renewal is due. Please send your renewals in sooner rather than later to help Membership Secretary Alan process them rather than a rush later. 2012 Membership Forms.
If you rejoin before the 1st March 2012 you will go into a draw to win a Rhos CC cycle top.
If you are a new member your name will go into a seperate draw to win a Rhos on Sea CC shirt. If you were nominated by an existng member the name of the Rhos member will also go into that draw.
If you plan on competing in the club TT then you will need to be a member to get points (membership will not be taken on the night of a TT).
Non members will or pay guest membership on the night of a TT.
If you know of anybody who rides a bike, wants to ride a bike or who has had a passing thought about riding a bike then point them in our direction.
We want to increase the number of female members and junior members and get them involved in all aspects of cycling and find ways of developing the club to make it as inclusive as possible.
