Dear John,

This is simply to let you know that I read your message in the Guestbook on the Club Website on Friday 6th May and have telephoned it through to Ivor Wild.  Ivor was absolutely delighted to receive your message.  He is not on-line at home but has passed your email address to his son who, if he has not done so already, will be getting in touch via email himself with a message from Ivor.
As a relatively new member of the Club who has known Ivor for only a couple of years, I can tell you that he continues to be a fantastic competitor, a terrific enthusiast, and a source of much encouragement and sound advice to the less experienced members of the club.  He is a cornerstone member of the Club.  He is still very fast, sets a blistering pace, and records really good times in the Time Trials.  You will probably have seen that he recorded 55m 25s in the clubs tough 22 miler last week; it was his first TT of the season.
I’ve had the great pleasure of riding out with him twice in the last two weeks and can only say that he is great company to share the road with.
I’ll close now by wishing you well and thanking you for tracking Ivor down via the club website.  We were as thrilled as he was to see your message.
I hope that you hear from Ivor soon; let me know if contact fails because he was adamant that he wanted to contact you.
My very best wishes to you,
Yours sincerely,
Jonathan Castle - joff@joffeemax.wanadoo.co.uk

Just saw the club awards, good to see Ivor still doing well. Keep up the good work Ivor
