Our Activities
Racing PagesOn 30th March 2006 the time trial season starts at 6.30pm with a Conwy Valley 10 mile event.
7th to 10th April: Paris – Roubaix Classic One Day Event – Members of the Rhos travelling to spectate and ride the course.
14th May: Llyn Brenig Road Race – Organised and run by Mike Burns with support from the Rhos-on-Sea Cycling Club. The Club will need a strong turnout to help us marshal the course and fulfil various other duties on the day. 10th June: Club Barbecue –Venue TBC.
July - date TBC: Track taster session at Manchester Velodrome
31st August – 6.30pm - Pete Roberts Memorial 10 mile TT – followed by Club Supper at the Red Lion, Tyn-y-Groes.
2nd October - 8pm - Club AGM at Mochdre Sports Club
18th November – Club Annual Awards and Presentations Dinner/Dance – Colwyn Bay Cricket Club
10th December – 10am - Club Annual Christmas Ride and Lunch at the Red Lion, Tyn-y-Groes.
26th December – 11am Boxing Day 10 mile TT
CLUB MEETINGS
Monday 6th March - Club Meeting at Mochdre Sports Club –
Neil Walsh has very kindly agreed to give a presentation on Sports Nutrition, especially as it affects cyclist. It will include advice on diet and drinking (hydration).
